How Embracing My Midheaven Unlocked My Career Success
Your dream career is in the stars—discover yours, plus a self-love tarot spread for February!
One thing I’ve been hesitant to accept fully is that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be—nothing more, nothing less.
But why is that so hard to embrace? Probably because a part of me still feels like I should be doing more. Classic Virgo rising.
Right now, it feels like I’m in life’s waiting room, yet somehow, the manifestations and success I’ve been working toward are already finding me—at least on TikTok. As I stay consistent with posting my collective tarot readings, my videos are pulling in thousands of views, and more and more clients are booking personal readings.
The feedback? Absolutely amazing!!

It’s been a bit surreal, especially since I’ve spent so much time doubting my own gifts. If I were really that special, wouldn’t I feel a little less like I’m struggling to survive right now? Self-critical Jordan loves to chime in with, “This is not the time for social media and playing with cards! Go get a real job!” But my intuition has been much louder, telling me to do the exact opposite…
Then, I came across this post by @astroheavenxo:
It felt like I struck gold at that moment.
What is our Midheaven (MC)?
Positioned at the 12 o’clock spot on the birth chart, the Midheaven represents a person’s higher aspirations; their public image, career path, greatest achievements, long-term goals, ambitions, and how they are perceived by the world.
OF COURSE! Time to check my natal chart for the 500th time and uncover something I clearly missed… except, I hadn’t.
I fully believed what I was reading just from the little evidence on the screen—after all, I’ve watched those same celebrities find success in these exact ways, so why couldn’t it work for me? But what I discovered wasn’t new information; it was confirmation.
Confirmation of what my intuition has been screaming at me for months: I’m already doing it. And it’s time to fully commit—without fear.
Note to self: Jordan, what have all those psychics been telling you these past few years? That you’d find the success, love, and stability you’ve been searching for once you fully dive into your passions…
I know AI can be a little nerve-racking, but honestly, I don’t have a bestie (yet) that I can bounce these ideas off of—so ChatGPT it is.
Below are snippets from our conversation surrounding my Midheaven/10th house placements, but I’ll summarize what it all meant for me, how it aligns with my current work, and how finding yours can benefit you too!

With a Gemini Midheaven/10th house and Cancer Venus also sitting in my 10th house, here are my career Do’s and Don’ts:
Do:
✨ Use my voice—write, speak, and leverage social media to spread awareness. ✨ Embrace my curiosity and allow myself to be a jack-of-all-trades. (Gemini MCs tend to bounce from job to job or do better at freelance work and my life has been the epitome of that.) ✨ Show up authentically, leaning into my natural insightfulness, playfulness, and emotional depth. ✨ Thrive through networking and using social media to build connections. ✨ Pour my heart into my work, creating an emotional connection that helps others feel seen and heard. ✨ Lean into a mystical and nostalgic aesthetic—celestial, oceanic, and moon-related imagery and themes to be specific (my Cancer Venus' influence). ✨ Trust that my career will be intuition-based. ✨ Step into my divine feminine energy—attract, don’t chase. I thrive in soft power and divine magnetism.
Don’t:
❌ Box myself into one identity, hobby, or subject—I’m meant to explore. ❌ Try to shape myself into what I think others want. The more I show up as my true self, the more aligned opportunities, clients, and success will come my way.
For those of you who have been here for a while, does any of that sound familiar to you?
My TikTok tarot readings and blog sharings align perfectly with this formula for success. No wonder my videos are now reaching thousands, and my blog continues to steadily grow!
Astrology never fails to amaze me with how much it reveals—not just about who we are, but where we’re headed and how to get there. And what’s even wilder? This all connected back to a self-love tarot spread I did minutes before coming across this information.
If you’re interested in doing the same, here are the questions I used for my spread, provided by Biddy Tarot!⬇️
How do you feel about yourself right now?
What do you love about yourself?
What do you love about yourself?
What do you love about yourself?
What is an aspect of yourself you need to release?
What is an aspect of yourself you need to accept?
What is an aspect of yourself you need to grow and nurture?
How can you build a more loving relationship with yourself?
This spread revealed how I’ve been struggling with feeling secure in my identity and direction in life. I’ve been questioning whether I should fully commit to my passions or take the “realistic” route like I used to push myself to do, and ChatGPT also pointed out that this uncertainty could be influenced by past conditioning or illusions I’m still working through.
But here’s what I love—I am working through it. Even though it feels hard to move forward or let go, I can see through illusions even when I feel uncertain. I’m more in tune with my intuition, and I trust myself first, even when others don’t always see my vision. I no longer back down from what I know to be true.
That said, I do need to release overthinking and my tendency to seek external validation before making decisions. Based on many of the collective readings I’ve watched, it seems like a major decision is approaching—one where I’ll have to practice exactly that. I also need to get better at letting things go—something that, ironically, also came up in therapy today. Moving on has been tough because I still need to work on forgiving myself and others for past mistakes, treatment, and decisions.
I’ve always prided myself on being an open book, never letting my past harden my heart. But if I’m being honest? I am more closed off now. I feel more guarded, more cautious of the people around me, and I haven’t fully let myself step into my new identity because my old one is all I’ve known for the past nine years. I am scared.
And what do I need to accept and nurture? It all comes back to radical honesty—with myself and others—about what I truly want and need. I have to let go of self-sabotage, stop holding back, and be upfront about my real boundaries and desires. It’s time to fully live authentically, without fear or judgment.
And to do that? I need to lean into what excites me, what inspires me, and follow my creative impulses. Embrace boldness. Be spontaneous. Just go for it.
I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds like confirmation that I’m already on the right path—and that I need to follow my gut feeling telling me to keep going.
So what might this mean for you?
If you’re feeling anything like me—lost, searching for direction, especially when it comes to your career or finances—take a look at your 10th house and Midheaven (MC) in your natal chart!
✨ What sign rules your 10th house?
✨ Are there any planets in that house?
Based on what you find, you can either do what I did and ask ChatGPT to put it together for you, or check out the descriptions below to see what your zodiac sign over the MC/10th house reveals about your unique path to success! ⬇️
What Does It Mean If Your MC Is in the 9th House?
If your Midheaven falls in your 9th house, your career or public path might be deeply tied to higher education, travel, philosophy, spirituality, publishing, or teaching rather than traditional 10th-house themes like authority or reputation. It suggests a more wisdom-driven or expansive approach to your life's work.
