What Is the Universe Trying to Tell You?
Did you grow up making a wish at 11:11? Have you ever randomly noticed the numbers of your birth date throughout the day? Maybe your favorite song ends exactly at 3 minutes and 33 seconds?
When I first started exploring my spirituality and strengthening my intuition, I started to notice repetitive numerical signs called angel numbers. I have periods where I catch certain numbers like 1010, 1234, 808, and 444 pretty much every day and other times where I won’t see anything at all.
I began to notice the correlation between seeing these numbers and the major events in my life that would occur around the same time… so why was I seeing them and what did they mean?

In the spiritual realm, you might hear that “there are no coincidences”; this concept is called synchronicity, a phenomenon introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung in which people interpret two separate and unrelated experiences as being meaningfully intertwined, even when there is no causal evidence to connect them.
Some may see this as confirmation bias, others like myself, see it as signs from the universe.
What is an Angel Number?
Angel numbers typically manifest as a recurring sequence or pattern of 3 to 4 numbers that resonate with you on a personal level.
My sister gifted me a 444 necklace because I consider it one of my angel numbers; I see it the most often when I feel like I’m being guided and like to think of it as a sign of protection and manifestation. So much so, that I also have it tattooed behind my ear!
You can find angel numbers in pretty much anything: price tags, houses/apartment units, license plates, phone numbers, clocks, music, etc.
Understanding the energetic influence of each number can help unlock the insight they provide. I like to use numerology, the study of numbers and their impact on our lives, to help me decode these messages. Through this approach, angel numbers commonly converge with methods of divination such as tarot and astrology.

✨Related Story Time!✨
I had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship over 7 years; as my first boyfriend and love, my attachment ran quite deep. The state of our relationship often intertwined with that of my mental health, but despite all the turbulence we went through, I left the experience feeling grateful for all of its lessons. I only felt at ease when there wasn’t pressure to perform, almost like I was being guided to be present in the moment. Dancing spontaneously, with a touch of silliness and slightly off-key singing, I rediscovered my carefree inner child—the one I lost touch with and spent years trying to rekindle a relationship with.
For the first time in a long time, I truly enjoyed my own energy; I no longer felt any doubt or issue with my identity, my worth, or my future. I found solace.

WELL…I began expressing gratitude to the universe for steering me away from my sadness. While pausing to meditate, I extended compassion to my former self in what seemed like one of her darkest hours. Visualizing myself hugging her and telling her that everything was going to be okay as she cried in bed over a moment that’s gonna eventually be seen as a small pebble in her overall journey to happiness.
In that moment, a profound connection and energy enveloped me, like stories of spiritual encounters I’ve heard shared by others. I quickly opened my eyes out of confusion over the sensation I experienced, but an impulse guided me to check the time, perfectly capturing the moment’s essence…
333 is an angel number that represents creativity, growth, guidance, and support!
Kind of ironic how that was the time right? And did you notice what song I was listening to?
I didn’t even realize how much the music resonated with what I was experiencing and in the most specific way possible. I halted immediately to sloppily journal about the experience, not wanting to forget what was happening. I noted the songs that played previously as well because together they all seemed to provide me with one big message: accept and release our story.
